A bit about Me:

I’m the Daughter of a Professional Photographer – although in his later years my Dad made the decision to give up his successful photography business and learn the skills of a Traditional Charcoal maker. He wanted to create a more sustainable future and help slow down the deforestation caused by modern charcoal production.

I was born and Married in Scotland but grew up in Germany and the Lake District.

My Celtic background and fascination with Nordic and Japanese mythology has led me on a wild and winding path to where I am today.

I now live in Queensland, Australia with my Husband, 3 children and 2 Dogs – My Mum has moved over from the UK to be here too. 

I’m a photographer specialising in pet portraits, and helping tell the stories of those who choose to make their living by mastering traditional arts and crafts,  through authentic photographs which in turn attract their ideal clients.

When I’m not behind the lens (and sometimes when I am) you’ll find me wrangling my 7yr old Triplets, Boxer dog and Ridgeback X Puppy.

Over the years I’ve put a lot of hours into learning how to create composite images from photographs. I’ve always used my own images to create these, but with the current lock-down situation I’ve begun to wonder if I should perhaps offer to create these as a digital product using your favourite photo that you have either taken yourself or you have permission to use.

How it works:

1. Purchase your Custom Pet Portrait here.
2. Send me your chosen photo of your pet – taken in natural light with your pet looking into the camera – and tell me something that you love about his/her personality.
3. Within 2-3 days I will contact you with artwork ideas and any questions that may help to refine the idea to suit your pets personality.
4. When we have agreed on the theme I will create a unique artwork for you that will be delivered to you via a digital download.
